ATP would be important for cells, including brain cells unless I'm sorely mistaken. Chemical reactions to put it simply. So emotions would actually just be the normal brain wave energy they're borrowing from? It would probably be pseudo-science to have different emotions generate different energies but they would stimulate brain activity.
