Connor was caught a little off-guard by the redirect, but it was something he really should have come to expect around the wiley old businessman. It was often difficult to get a straight answer out of Jack Flanagan, and that's on the rare occasions that he gave you an answer at all. Unfortunately, as the owner and booker of the company, there was very little Connor could do but roll with it.
