Hmm, I feel like an orphan boy would be appropriate for this role-play C: I would ask that no one except the GM read my character's history, because it entwines with his story and I feel knowing the history in advance would ruin it. Also, I'm gonna spend a bit more time working on this, but here is a rough character sheet for now. Name: Samson Sullivan Age: 12 Gender: Male Personality: Samson is a quiet young boy, keeping mostly to himself, and hiding in the shadows as best he can. He rarely makes eye contacts; his eyeballs always drift off. He is kindhearted, and will fight for what he believes is right, but will do so without drawing attention to himself. He does it subtly, without openly opposing them, but seeking some kind of vengeance later on. He does not steal from the poor, only the rich, for he believes the wealth is unevenly spread. His philosophy is for the greater good. The end justifies the means. Therefore murder is allowed, so along as it benefits everyone. He seeks justice constantly. Appearance: Samson is very short, even for his age and is often mistaken for being much younger than he really is. His dull brown eyes give off very little life and he has large, black bags sitting beneath them. His dirty blonde hair is rugged and unkempt, roughly cut short. He has a small nose, small lips and very small hands. Mask: Yellow
Despite his young age, Samson has a had a very complicated life. He was born in the pink district, and his father was a wealthy business man. When he was five years old, there was a fire in the district, and during the chaos he was kidnapped by a man clothed in shadowy leather, whom wore a black mask. Black! There was no way of identifying him, nor his district. He seemed otherworldly and violent, yet kind and benevolent. He insisted that day that he had come to save him, all the while apologizing that he could never return again. Samson was taken to the yellow district, where the strange man in the black mask told him that both of his parents were dead. He also warned him that should he ever return to the pink district he would be murdered on the spot. He said this with a blade in his hand with tears streaking out, then slit his own throat. Ever since that day, Samson has lived in the yellow district as an thief and a beggar, prowling through the city at night, scavenging whatever food he could find. He is distrusted by the other children in the city, and so he remains ever so alone but for his Newfoundland, Scyler. (A dog) Some notes for the GM to ensure that the history is allowed. The man in the black mask is part of a group of assassins who exist outside of the law. They are always in the shadows, lurking about, and they do not don one of the typical masks. These assassin's started the fire and murdered Samson's parents, for they kept slaves. The assassins work to end all oppression and this extends to slavery, They would have killed Samson as well, had the mysterious man not saved him. He killed himself because he despised his own life and everything it stood for. He agreed with the goals, but not the method used to obtain them. He warned Samson not to go to the pink district, only because he may be recongised and returned to the district thusly. If this happened, the assassins may go after him to tie up loose ends.
Other: Knows the entire city like the back of his hand, except for the Pink district which he avoids completely.
