The sheets twisted being slightly kicked of by the figure underneath them as they tossed and turned in a panic, a nightmare clutching at them but not able to wake from the dreamworld. The rapid breathing was starting to hitch, sweat pouring off their brow as tears rolled down tanned skin cheek like a waterfall before the person shot up with a scream of terror. The wide rust colored eyes searched desperately around the room for any sort of attacker in her hazed mind as it tried to catch up with what was going on. She panted hard, a hand clutched to her chest as she seemed to be having ghost pains from the nightmare she had just been in and she also needed to be sure it wasn't real, that she was fine. Chleo took a few moments to just calm herself, feeling embarrassed about the feeling of fear that was still clinging to her even though she was much calmer than when she had first awoken from her slumber. It was just a dream. A silly dream you barely even remember if any of it at all so why am I feeling this way. Get a hold of yourself, this is ridiculous!" she thought to herself, quickly swiping away the water on her face with her sleeve before looking to the clock, almost wanting to groan at the time it read. She had only been asleep for about three hours going on four and now thanks to the dream she had no desire to return to dreamland anytime soon. It was going to be a long work night and she was going to need so much coffee before hand. Chleo dragged herself out of bed, making her way to the bathroom for a nice relaxing shower before she decided what to do with her day since she was now up and about. "Well, sleep is overrated anyway." she said to the mirror with a quick nod as if her reflection was agreeing with her statement before she hopped in the shower and readied herself. She took the time to fix up her hair, even adding in small braids because she could and boredom played a big key in the choice. It was long before she was plopped face first on the couch, groaning in boredom as the tv played in the background. "Maybe I should go out for breakfast..." Chleo muttered into the couch cushion before slowly turning her head to the side and reaching an arm out to grab the keys from the coffee table. She dragged them off the glass lazily, pushing herself slowly up and headed out the door without even bothering to shut off the television.
