He was too young in his own eyes. He felt like he was pushing the limit as it was. Thought that the only reason that he was there was because of his coach. He knew he needed to get momentum and sway before he could get stuff going for him behind the scenes, and according to "Hollywood" Alex needed a long run with a partner first.
