Jinn are Humanoids, semi-ethereal in appearance, basically people with a smokey looking body, and cat like eyes. Many also hover slightly off the ground. 

Pretty much all Middle-Eastern mythical creatures exist on Al-Mashriq and Al-Maghrib, though mythical creatures are more common in Al-Maghrib which is the area from the former Jinn World, while Al-Mashriq (the former Human World) has more common earth animals.
