Paul shot up, as if he had been awoken from a dream. He pulled in as much air into his lungs as he possibly could, and began to briefly hyperventilate. What the hell happened? One second I was trying to track Maya and now I'm here? Paul couldn't see much. His eyes were still adjusting, as if they hadn't been in use for a very long time. He was also having difficulty moving, it appeared that he had been strapped to a chair with metal clasps holding on to his arms and legs. It would appear that you've gone through another 'time lapse,' dear Paul. You say that every time this happens, but I still don't know what that means. Care to finally explain? You have a tendency to overexert yourself. I believe you attempted to use some of your powers (after releasing yourself from quite a bumpy ride in a drop pod) to track Maya's location and instead you have brought your soul here. I won't go into the details of your soul being split and existing in multiple dimensional spaces as that is a complicated business that someone like you would not be able to understand. Alright smartass, so what was I doing the whole time? Truthfully I don't know, but I imagine whatever you were doing it was probably idiotic. Paul shook his head in annoyance. Thankfully his fashionable attire had been preserved, but his weapon has been confiscated. Had he not been so groggy, Paul probably could've recovered his blade as all Archons are said to be able to do. Unfortunately, he felt like he had been bulldozed, so that wasn't an option. Instead he simply shook his arms and legs around trying to get his restraints off, so that perhaps he could find a way out of this dirty, grungy, dimly lit room.
