This isn't entirely finished yet, there are some things like the character quotes I still need to add and the name is really just a placeholder until I think if something that isn't so on the nose.

ALADDIN

People want riches, they need fulfillment. While this may not be the nicest of names, Aladdin now wears it like a badge of honor, mostly just as a giant screw you to everyone who ever called him it. Prince - A title thrust upon him after marrying the princess. Aladdin is no longer a prince but the name has stuck with him in certain circles, though he tends to feel rather uncomfortable when anyone refers to him as a prince. It's a reminder of a time he'd honestly rather forget. Songbird - A name bestowed upon Alden in the modern world by his friend for his tendency to whistle all manner of tunes. The kitchen of Moriarty's is often filled with the sound of Alden happily whistling while he works.
The Original Name
Aladdin
Story of origin
Unlike what a certain mega corporation would have you believe, the young boy who would eventually come to be known as Aladdin was born and raised in China. An impoverished but talented thief, Aladdin was recruited by a sorcerer to steal a lamp from a booby-trapped cave. When the sorcerer attempts to betray him, Aladdin ended up trapped in the cave, still clinging to the mysterious lamp. Fortunately for the boy, he still had a magical ring that the sorcerer lent him. The ring contained a lesser genie which helped Aladdin return home. The rest of the tale is more or less accurate from the well known movie. Aladdin discovers the lamp contains a powerful genie, the genie helps Aladdin defeat the sorcerer and secure the heart of the emperors beautiful daughter. But the real story doesn't exactly tell what happened afterwards.
Age
Looks to be in his mid twenties (But is at least 300. I'm not 100% sure how old the story of Aladdin actually is.)
Gender
Male
Sexual Orientation
Heterosexual
Magic
No but has an affinity for magical items. He possessed a ring and a lamp that both contained genies.
Job/Position
Chef/Cook at Moriarty's
Appearance
Alden stands about 5ft 9 and looks slightly scrawny but is actually quite well muscled in a compact sort of way. With dark eyes, slightly messy brown hair and flawless skin, he is a very attractive man. He tends to dress in rather casual clothes and seeing him dressed up is a very rare occurrence.

"I enjoyed my life when I had nothing...and kinda like the idea of just being happy with me."

Personality
Aladdin has always aspired to great things and even today is full of optimism for the future. He is confident and headstrong and not easily deterred. Despite his many experiences in life, he is still somewhat naive and and maybe a little too trusting. He is brave and more than a little reckless at times but never puts others in danger if he can avoid it. Aladdin is also incredibly charming and knows it. He can usually talk his way out of any situation, which is useful, as he has a tendency to get himself into trouble. He's know to be something of a womanizer and some would even call him a slut. He's somewhat in denial about this though. He is a mostly likeable guy and tries his best to help others in need whenever he can, even if it gets him into trouble.
Strengths

Athletic
Excellent at parkour
Adventurous
Kind
Brave

Weaknesses

Naive
Reckless
Too trusting

Mortal Weaknesses Having spent so much time in possession of a magic ring, Aladdin has become almost as bound to the ring as much as the genie which once resided within it. Without the ring, Aladdin is much weaker than he normally would be. Fears
Claustrophobia - Even as a young boy, Aladdin didn't like enclosed spaces. The sorcerer trapping him in a dangerous cave only made this fear worse. His fear hasn't eased any over the years and he still doesn't like feeling trapped.

"Trouble? No way. You're only in trouble if you get caught."

History
After the adventure with the sorcerer and the genie, Aladdin and the princess did live happily...for a while at least. The end of their relationship was entirely Aladdin's fault. Growing up with nothing but the shirt on his back (and sometimes not even that) Aladdin revelled in his newfound wealth upon marrying the princess. Maybe a little too much. He became greedy and the friendly young man he had once been slowly vanished. The princess could almost put up with the changes in her prince...but then she learned he had been cheating on her as well. That was the last straw. Their relationship in tatters and feeling guilty for betraying his beloved princess, Aladdin left. He spent years trying to return himself to the man he used to be and was at least partially successful. After losing everything, he realized what his greed and lust had cost him and while he still tried to regain his wealth, it was more out of a desire to use it for the good of others rather than personal gain. He became known as something of a huckster, with a plethora of get rich quick schemes brewing. Some worked, some didn't. He managed at least to support himself until the exodus forces him and everyone else to relocate to another realm. The exodus took Aladdin entirely by surprise and on the other side, he was shocked by how different the world was. He became lost in more ways than one. He was once again reduced to his lowest point and was forced into begging for food or stealing it when the opportunity arose. But with the help of some supportive Vale's Aladdin managed to pull himself back up. His life today is by no means glamorous but he at least has a home and a job He still dreams of making it big though.
Likes

Good food
Music
Sports (all of them)
Free running

Dislikes

Enclosed spaces
Snobs
Snakes
Sorcerers

"Smile...You're alive."
