[indent]Setting is strictly based on the cinematic universe of the following films: [i]X-Men[/i], [i]X2[/i], and [i]X-Men: The Last Stand[/i] only. Anything else beyond the three stated titles are completely ignored and disregarded - that is, canon info from comic books, animated shows, even the later movies and Wolverine spin-offs are all thrown out of the window.[/indent]

[indent]Both myself and you, the partner, will be playing OCs. Whether our characters are affiliated with X-Men or the Brotherhood of Mutants, or even completely unrelated to those parties, can be further discussed if you wish to take up this roleplay idea. However, be prepared to double or handle lots of NPCs depending on IC development.

Regarding powers, while I know Marvel (and also DC) are known for their [s]cringeworthy overpowered[/s] superpowers, we are not creating god-like characters who can destroy the world with just a snap of their fingers here. Please be reasonable, and work with abilities that makes sense to your character and the roleplay setting.[/indent]

[color=silver][b]The Theme[/b][/color]
[indent]As clearly stated in the synopsis, the plot will center around the concept of turning normal humans to mutants, and possibly weaponize them. Violence, gore, psychological horror and other mature themes may be thrown in to create tension and drama. Romance is optional - I'd rather leave that to IC development than forcing our characters to go kinky for no good reason. More plot details can be discussed in private.[/indent]

[indent]Advanced level - no one-liners; proper spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and paragraphing rules apply... yada yada. Be open to collaborative writing at times, especially for action scenes.

Also, do your research on how various superpowers work, some basic knowledge on the canon characters (in case they make appearances in the IC), blah blah. I'm not going to spoonfeed you when you should read up the wikias on your own.[/indent][/indent][/color]
