Edit: There is one thing I want to know about your ability though. How much information and how specific do you need on something to be able to locate it?

For example: for persons. Do you need to know the person? Do you need the name only or do you also have seen the person either on a picture or in real life?

Also, for objects. How exact does your query need to be? Let's say you need to find food. Will your ability simply find the closest food or do you need to think of a specific kind of food? 

Since your ability is quite specific and non-combat, I can allow you to make it quite potent at what it does. Just throwing it out there.

Ah, you bring up a good point!

For people, he needs a picture. He can't do it if he's never seen the person, let it be in the flesh or with a photo. He doesn't need to know the person.

For objects, your query would probably have to be much more exact. I'm thinking generalization can come with time and practice, like being able to find many Chinese restaurants nearby if you said you wanted Chinese food. But right now, he could only find specific objects. He probably wouldn't be able to find "orange chicken", because he'd need to know exactly which platter of orange chicken.
