[@ScienMalefica] AAAAAAaaahh. Ironic that I intended to make King Arthur the sheriff. Haha... ha *sweats* Anyway, I expect great things from you. If you so much as half-ass this character, I will personally slice you in half. (It's a joke... because... uh *cough*) On a more serious note, he looks wonderful, though the only complaint I have so far would be that his history doesn't quite include his time spent in the human world. It doesn't have to be more than just a paragraph exposition on what he's been doing since the jump from Mystvale to Cedar Grove. Once that's slid in there, he's more than accepted! [@Cuccoruler] As an aside, I'm not trying to shoot down your idea, I'm just saying the current mold doesn't quite fit with the theme for the RP. It just needs adjusting and I think it's my fault that I didn't clarify a few things while smacking a based on Fables label onto the RP. If you'd like to PM the details you absolutely want for this character and further questions, that'll work for me. I'm more than happy to work some stuff out with you to make them acceptable while staying true to your vision for them.
While the idea is fairly creative, I'm not entirely sure it fits with what I quite had in mind for the RP. I think the magic from the portal to earth would be strong enough to forcibly split them apart or mash them together into one person, maybe with multipersonality disorder. I'm okay with keeping them split into four, if they're all their own character. Otherwise, maybe literally giving them four personalities into one person without the ability to split would also work wonders. (I'd be a little more comfortable with the former, though, since MPD is a touchy subject and I'm not sure if that would offend someone; however, if it works better for you, go for it) I don't want magic to be vital to maintaining that kind of thing for a character; for someone like Merlin, sure, because he's addicted, but his physical traits and his personality aren't tied to it like it is with the Musicians. I'm not as concerned with the animal thing, though I think maybe just giving them those certain traits would work better. This is where the Once Upon a Time aspect kicks in over the Fables aspect. I'm not looking to really copy Fables in terms of characters or how magic works in that comic series. I mean, Bigby could turn into a giant wolf if he got hurt or angry enough. That's legit, but I don't think it works for what I'm going for in terms of these characters. Magic is still a thing, but I'm looking for kind of low-mid fantasy feel with it and less supernatural oriented. So, essentially if someone made Puss in Boots he/she/they would be a cat in Mystvale, but a human with feline-esque traits (not hardcore like oh god it's a neko) in the human world. I'm okay with them having features like an animal, but not borderline werewolf, if you get my meaning. A good example is Selena Kyle/Catwoman if you wanted to use a cat from a fairy tale. She's the embodiment of a feline: she's flexible, nonchalant, has near superhuman balance, etc. But she's not an actual cat or an anthro cat, if you get what I 'm saying. I'm just not okay with turning into an actual animal. Also, I do need to touch up on the Barn thing. I'm just wondering if you intended for that to be a nightclub in Cedar Grove and if you were going to have this character be there most of the time? Cause if so, it can't be in Cedar Grove because the population isn't big enough, even with just the Vales going there. It'd have to be in a big city and I'm alright with that, but that means it can't really be a place most characters go too. It'd be too out of the way and I'm looking to keep the first part of the RP within Cedar Grove before thinking about branching out. If you wanted to keep it in Cedar Grove and make it a place people go to, then maybe making it a restaurant would work better? Up to you on that one. Just a small tidbit, though, it's nothing serious.
