Omega Supreme has been given a decent deal of characterization regarding his role as the Autobot Big Stick and where that places him in the grand scheme of things, particularly in continuities where he is not exactly happy with his role (Animated comes to mind) and those where he's an ancient guardian to the impossibly advanced cybernetic planet (IDW in particular but also Aligned).
