Added a few bits so it fit in well with my app.
Name: Faile Ti Bashere Race: Dunia Demi-god (Falcon Aspect) Inventory: Leon Todmeister's Fantabulously Far-reaching Rifle of Unforeseeable and Unperceived Bereavement. Custom made Rifle (so called because of the groves cut into the barrel to make the lead spin in flight for greater penetration and accuracy, called 'Rifling' by the creator, a Gromish inventor called Leon Todmeister) to take advantage of Faile's heritage, the weapon is unique in all the world, and quite possibly ranks as one of the best long-barreled firearms within said world. It has no scope - Faile needs no scope to take advantage of the rifle - but is single shot, and so needs reloading after every fire. Faile can make up to four shots a minute, in good conditions. The incredible length of the gun makes it impractical in close quaters (Faile believes anything less than four hundred yards is close), and most people would be unable to use it, due to the need of getting used to the gun's specific quirks and firing degrees on short distances. Faile, who can count the strands of hair on a man's chin from over three hundred yards away, is perfectly able to uterlize the gun to it's fullest extent. Melee: Leon Todmeister's Amazing Knuckle Covering Knife of Swift Disenboweling Weapon also made by Leon Todmeister, this has the handle of the knife with four holes in it, so the user can slot their fingers into it, and punch someone as easily as attacking them with with blade part. Back up Weapon: The Roses of Scarlet: A pair of twin-barrled revolvers, with an extended barrel and special powder to increase the flight range of the round. It doesn't have nearly as long a range of Faile's rifle, but with her skill and abilities, can make clean shots at up to three hundred and fifty yards. The firing mechanism shoots off both bullets at the same time, but a bit of Grommish enginerring between barrels allows the gun to release recoil omnidirectionally, effectively negating it's own kick by a substantual degree and allowing for one-handed wielding and swifting firing. While Faile prefers to stay beyond the eye-sight of most, there are situations that simply call for a pair of revolvers. Powers: Faile was born to a Falcon Spirit, mostly worshiped as a god by the Dunia, and this granted her a few interesting benifits. One of them, being the eyesight of the Falcon, granting her unparalleled sight, and a night vision beyond normal humans, but not perfect like a Feline. However, the skill with a rifle was not given to her, but earned over a decade of use, turning her into a grand gunslinger, and the head of a multi-racial mercenary group. She also has some skill with Alchemy, able to create the powder her weapons require, but is not anything special with it. Background Faile Ti Bashere was born to her mother, Eloviana Ti Bashere, who never knew the girl's father, or claimed to never know him at least. She would not tell young Faile anything about him, or explain why her eyes looked dodgy, with the irises more slit than circle. However, one day when she was young, Faile was accosted by a strange, old Dunia woman, the kinda Faile's mother told her to avoid, since they always wanted something from you. But this woman simply stared into her eyes, and then proclaimed - in very fractured Lurish - that she was the 'Daughter of the Eagle' referrring to the Animal Gods that the Dunia worshipped. The encounter left Faile confused and she initially rejected the woman's proclamation, running home to her mother and shutting the door behind her. When Eloviana came out to see what had gotten Faile so upset, she told her about the encounter with the woman. Much to Faile's surprise, Eloviana suddenly clutched Faile into her rather considerable bosom, and revealed that she had been lying to the girl. Eloviana did remember who had gotten her pregnant, but did not think anyone would believe her. She told Faile about a hunting trip she was one on, going though the desert, and got attacked by bandits, who shot several of the people, killed the horses, and made off with all the valubles. Eloviana was the only woman to survive the night, as the rest had been wounded and died in their sleep, so when she awoke, she was all alone in the middle of a desert. And then, a tall, red skinned man came out of the mirage in the desert. At first, Eloviana thought it was just a hallucination, but the man got to her, and picked her up. He had barely a loincloth covering him, and his body was strong and muscular, but the most striking aspect was his eyes, they where slit and a strange, orange colour. He did not say anything, but simply held out his hand to Eloviana, an offer she took. The man then led her though a few miles of desert, constructing a head-wrap from the remains of her dress when she began to sweat profusely. Then, after they covered the distance, the Eagle-Man had led her to an oasis. The resulting night, was when Faile was made, but the man was gone in the morning, when a trading caravan had stopped by to refill their water supply. Eloviana caught a ride to the nearest city and from there found a job and eventually had Faile. Faile was shocked to hear that she had been born of some desert appearing man-eagle, but it made more sense. Why her eyes where slit, why she could pick out wood-grains in beams, and why her mother tried to keep her away from the Dunia, who were her true people. Elouviana made Faile promise not to tell anyone, but such a thing got around town, and beyond. So, a few years later, when she grew of age, a bounty hunter group had heard of her and her miraculous eyesight, and come around, offering training and a steady job hunting the ruffians of the world. With her mother sick and weak, Faile took off with the men and women, to start her new life, and support her ailing mother. Faile took up the art of the Musket rather quickly, but it was soon found out her eyesight out ranged most muskets, causing her to over-shoot the target, and miss with irritating frequency. Faile trained with the musket for many hours every day until she could accurately point the edge of the musket's range, this assisted in her making more accurate shots and she quickly became known for her sharp eye. With an amassing fortune, even with sending a portion of her bounties and pay to her mother, Emily sort out the Grommish genius - eccentric, borderline insane by most people's reckoning, so he didn't do much business - Leon Todmeister, and with him at the helm, wrought a beautiful new musket, called a rifle by the inventor. The full name of 'Leon Todmeister's Fantabulously Far-reaching Rifle of Unforeseeable and Unperceived Bereavement.' was a bit much for Faile, and she could see why people thought he was a bit nuts, but the rifle was a marvel, and far out-ranged any other rifle in the Hunter group. For providing him with the 'inspiration' to go on, and giving him a lot of money to create the rifle, Leon made Faile a second weapon, called 'Leon Todmeister's Amazing Knuckle Covering Knife of Swift Disenboweling'. Faile decided to call it a 'Punch Knife' because the metal covering the fingers and would hit harder than flesh alone, while most knife handles where covered by the hand. As she was leaving, however, a scrap of paper caught her incredibly sharp eye, and so she went over to check it out. What she was, where the inital plans for a pair of revolvers, with two barrels. Headed 'Leon Todmiester's Grandiose Revolvers of Rapid Bullet-Deliverance', they looked really nice. So, still with enough money to fund whatever was thrown her way, she collared Leon, and set about discussing the weaponry he had written down. Leon initally dismissed it, due to the fact that the recoil of two barrels firing simultaniously would snap most peoples arms when fired in one hand. However, Faile did not let him up, throwing good-natured suggestions until Leon had a bout of what he called 'Outhouse Inspiration' and added a specific system to the gun, between barrels. When the gun was fired, this would release the force in every direction, making it a bit wierd to fire, but solving the recoil. After this, Leon got to work in ernist, and added a small edit to his additional plan, increasing the barrel length so that the bullet would have more spin to it, and adding a special powder to the bullets, propelling them further and faster. Faile loved what he finally came up with, since the only metal that could withstand the new powder's force was a deep red in colour. Mentally, as to not upset Leon's naming skills, she dubbed them the Scarlet Roses. After paying for the recipe of the powder, and the guns, she set off again, happy, and content. With her pockets lightened and her new, Eagle-Eye friendly weaponry ready, Faile was ready to set off into a new chapter of her bounty hunting, killing or wounding men from more paces away then they could see, and shattering their spirit. But, the leader of the camp was found dead in his tent one day, and the camp felt as if it was going to tear itself apart with suspicion, so Faile took her weapons, slipped her roses into a plifered set of holsters, and set out on her own, not wanting to be in the middle of the fight when it came to a head. She would travel from town to town, creating her own band of mercenaries, and give every race who wished to wield a gun, or hammer an anvil - because camp followers were as important as the actual hunters - a space within her ranks. A special place, to the Dunia, if they wished it. Eventually, she was contracted by the Lurish empire to provide support to their new jungle expoditions, and so she set out with them, interested in these new lands. Current Location/Profession: Head of the Falcon's Wings, a mercenary division that plays host to a multitude of races.
