If we die in a dream, we wake up in reality. So...if we die in reality...do we wake up in a dream? Slumped into the uncomfortable seat of a rickety town bus, packed to the brim with people she was about to slaughter if they stepped on her feet again, a dark haired girl with ghostly white complexion and eyes crimsoned sat in a dismal, empty gaze out the window at the passing scenery. The Agonist blaring through the black and red skullcandies in her ears, the beautiful countryside with its bristling verdant flowery meadows and mysterious forests passing her by, a stark contrast to the plague ridden villages and dead, withered hollows of Bald Mountain, forever cursed by an ashen gray sky and to be eclipsed in the shadow of that...eyesore, faded from her view. Soon, she could see the castlelike structure, standing tall and gallant against the clear blue sky, rising over the hills to greet her. A new school, a new life....or at least that's how Evelyn hoped it would go. It felt good to finally be gone from that horrible place, to finally never see those old, haunted cemeteries and mausoleums, to never have the pungent stench of rigor mortis, sulfur and brimstone assault her nostrils. And....to never hear that demon's voice bellowing in her ears how much of a disgrace she was to her mother and he. Yet, even as the sun shimmered upon her porcelain complexion, a shred of warmth she did not feel. "What are you looking at, grandma?" She hissed at an old lady giving her a glare that pretty much said burn in Hell, as if she hadn't been there before. Merely she ignored the other scrutinizing, condescending glances she received from the bus passengers, pushing past the crowds and shoulder checking a few people carelessly, on her way towards the front and out into the light of day. As if on instinct, she hissed, the harsh glare of white catching her blood red eyes and causing them to squint. So here she was, finally. Now she just had to get to her dorm. [@KatherinWinter] "Get out of the way." Coldly she grumbled shoving some brunette aside, not really caring if she belonged to some pretty princess or regal prince. At least they got lucky....and weren't the offspring of a powerful demon lord and his dragon of a wife, spawned in Hellfire no less.
