Catagories and Classes of Powers[//b] Superhumans are divided into five categories, One through to Six, based on the styles of use, and Classes One through Six based on power level. Class One is the least dangerous, while Class Six is equivalent to a WMD. Categories Category One: Powers that affect only the Super and [i]maybe the outside world indirectly. Examples include healing factors, enhanced senses, and super strength. It also affects the Super in visible manners, though this does not extend past them. Examples include certain types of shapeshifting, bone or metal claws, or a tail. Category Two: Powers that are touch based and affect either the world or other people. Healing touches, X-Men Gambit’s touch based energy imbuing, and anything else that requires skin to affected object contact. Category Three: Projected powers that require a medium, source or material to work through. Things such as X-Men’s Pyro, Water and Earth benders from Avatar, or [needs to think of DC example] Category Four:Projected powers that don’t need the assistance or reliance on a medium. Examples include telekinesis and telepathy, heat vision, and Fire and Airbending as in Avatar (the animated versions). Category Five: Abilities that don’t quite fit in any other category. Examples include teleportation, future vision, and certain other mental powers. Classes The Classes are based, for the most part, on the power levels measured by a special device in world, however there are a few exceptions. Class One through Four are based purely on measurement of the power level of the character. Classes Five and Six are independent of his system of measurement, however. A Class Four is assigned if the Super’s power is Category Three through Six and can easily be used to kill. Any Class Four Super is required to register with a confidential government database in the same way Concealed Weapon permits are registered, as the government and law enforcement will treat a Class Four power like a concealed or drawn weapon, depending on the situation. Class Five is destruction on the level of a bomb or greater with physical powers, and telepathy on the level of being able to manipulate another’s thoughts. These Super’s either (A) have their powers neutralized via a serum they must take or (B) are killed if they’re uncooperative.
