It took a while, but here's Percival. Still working on Scheherazade. His posture is always at attention and he doesn’t smile very often. His hair is brown and worn in standard, uninteresting haircut. He carries a bit of weight around, a result of his appetite outpacing his exercise as he enters middle age. Personality
Percival is a guy who likes to keep to himself. He’s not rude, in fact he follows etiquette quite well, he just doesn’t like to talk about his own life very much. When he does talk, he uses formal language and chooses his words carefully. He takes things slowly and deliberately, rushing is not in his blood. Percival likes to think things over and make sure he’s making the right decision, and is especially careful to make sure he follows his morals in every situation. He finds it easier to avoid anxiety and depression by living this way. Thinking backward and making big decisions puts a lot of stress on him, in times of trouble he turns to his faith that the future will be better to carry him through the struggles. When he isn’t conflicted he can display great bravery, but his indecision often makes him hesitate under pressure. Percival recognizes that people are complex and difficult to categorize. He likes helping people, especially when they’re in a rough situation. Morals are extremely important to him, but he knows that people can and will fail in their struggle to do the right thing. He is slow to judge and a strong believer in redemption.
Strengths

Principled
Patient
Observant
Empathetic

Weaknesses

Hesitation
Frequently regretful
Prone to depressive episodes and anxiety attacks
Trusting
Drowning

Fears
Making the wrong decision when everyone is counting on him
History
Perceval came from a backwater part of Mystvale and proved himself worthy of joining Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table. Shortly afterwards he set off on his quest to find the Holy Grail. This task kept him occupied and out of the affairs of the rest of the Knights. He failed his first attempt to obtain the Grail when he met the Fisher King but did not ask the proper question. This much is certain, beyond this there are many contradicting accounts. It is clear that Percival intended to continue his quest for the grail, but whether he was successful or not and what he did afterwards is unknown. Percival himself seems to have some sort psychological episode after his first failure, leaving him with lasting depression. The transition to Earth also affected him greatly, damaging his own memories of what happened after the failure of his first attempt and rendering him unable to definitively work out what happened. Percival did not adjust to life on Earth well. Episodes of anxiety and depression took their toll on him and made it hard to find stable work. He survived on the charity of the other townspeople for years until he could get his issues in order. In recent years he’s been doing a better job of coping with his issues, and worked towards passing the Bar exam to become a defense attorney. He sees practicing law as a way of protecting the weak, and feels guilty knowing how long people have supported him even when he couldn’t help them. He runs his practice out of an old storefront downtown, and lives in the room above it.
