Also quite the talker, he prefers to make others do his bidding. Ever since that night though, he has been a little off than usual, but he doesn’t appear to act or speak all too differently. [b]Bio[/b]: Having distinguished himself as a fine informant and operative when it comes to recon and gather information on demons, Sevrin has risen the ranks of the Demon Hunter’s Association quite handily. Hailing from a rich family that was killed by demons, the exposure to demons never left him, and it became inevitable that he would become a demon hunter. Years later he has made a name for himself not as a fighter, but as one who would find these demons. Try as he might he wasn’t a fighter, but his ability to find information was uncanny, and his recon skills were some of the best. One night on a lead he encountered a demon, and that was all he remembered of that night. The demon that possessed the human known as Sevrin originated from the darkest depths of the underworld, behind a giant seal. It has been far too long, and the one who lurks behind this seal has left the minds of many, all but the ones who lived during his time. [center][h3][Combat][/h3][/center] [b]Powers and Abilities[/b]: [b]Devourer Murder[/b] - Using an aspect of death, a flock of crows, Sevrin is able to use crows to do his bidding, whether it be to scout, eat and gather energy, or fight. This is a demon ability, and has minimal applications in battle. [b]Wraith Apparition[/b] - In combat, Sevrin is able to call forth wraiths to aid his attacks, adding a draining touch and damage. This is applied most in battle. [b]River Styx[/b] - A special mode that taps deeper into his demonic power. It creates a zone around him that drains life force for those within. During this mode the power of any of his demonic attacks are also increased, and the more enemies inside the zone, the more powerful his attacks as he draws directly from them too. Style: [b]Phantom [/b][LV2] - A style that’s a whole bag of tricks, employing the use of feints and footwork to evade and set up counter-attacks. At level 1 the style has access to after-images. At level 2 the style has access to active mirages which do actions on their own. [u]Equipment[/u]: [b]Kerberos [/b][LV2] - A souvenir from his prison in the demon world, after killing a Cerberus demon, different to the one seated within Temen ni Gru, the beast turned into a set of three daggers, all connected by a magical chain that can be materialized freely. The three daggers are all duja ve knives. The knives can be wielded separately as up to three knives, or as similar to the icy Cerberus weapon, as a single Devil Arm. [indent]Level 2 - Unlock Three Beasts Stance[/indent] [b]Hydra [/b][LV1] - Gained by killing a demon of the same name, it takes the form of black red armored leggings with golden blades. The weapon has considerable speed and power, and much like the demon it was created from, it has the ability to strike with such speed as if there were multiple attackers. [b]Yamato [/b][LV--] - Taken during the battle of the Second Seal at the Eidolic Cairn, originally belonging to Nero at the time. Though Sevrin is able to wield it, he unlike it's previous users in the Sparda lineage, cannot make use of it's full potential. Therefore it is locked on the first level. He can still make use of it's ability to theoretically slice through anything. Techniques: [u]Demon Powers[/u] [list][*][b]Raven Flock [LV2][/b] - An alternative recovery where he briefly turns into crows to readjust his aerial position. He can counter-attack immediately out of it. [*][b]Slide-Dodge[/b] - A different type of dodge-roll, furthermore it doesn't jump if done backwards and can be cancelled midway with basic moves, giving new options for counter-attacks.[/list] [u]Kerberos[/u] [list][*][b]Hell Leash [LV2][/b] - A basic move where he sends out a chain with a pair of jaws at the end. He can latch onto enemies with this, and either pull them to him, or pull himself to them. Level 2 he can use the latching jaws in melee range as a grappling move. [indent][b]Thresher Maw[/b] - A more brutal bite that slams the opponent into the ground, or sends them up into the air.[/indent] [*][b]Beast Sword[/b] - When using slashing moves, he can use his powers to extend their range for reliable melee attacks. [*][b]Three Fang Strike[/b] - Three strikes in quick succession with a high launch and power to the third strike. Can be done midair too. [*][b]Beast Crush[/b] - Twirls the knives in his hand and sweeps sideways while twirling them, done especially fast. Strikes many times all at once, overpowering most defenses. [*][b]Three Beasts Stance[/b] - Upon using this move he will enter a stance that gives him access to one of three moves. This stance can be cancelled, and he can slide-dodge while maintaining this stance, and can use any of the three moves mid-slide-dodge. [indent][list][b]Secular Fang[/b] - A direct upward wide swing stepping forward, but if done while slide dodging backwards, he maintains his position while avoiding an attack at that instant. [*][b]Material Fang[/b] - Steps backwards at the same time as twirling out the knives, throwing enemies into the air with a rising hooked knife swing. [*][b]Individual Fang[/b] - A jumping strike that hits hard vertically, usually slamming enemies into the ground, or pulling them out of the air if they're flying low enough.[/list][/indent][/list] [u]Hydra[/u] [list][*][b]Hydrive[/b] - Expel a bladed beam for short to mid range with a kick. [indent][b]Hi-Drive[/b] - The same as Hydrive, but jump into the air at the same time.[/indent] [*][b]Dragonbreak[/b] - A diving axe kick, it's especially steep, fast, and has a powerful impact, allowing it to break defenses. [*][b]Aerial Rave[/b] - Midair kick combo with acrobatic moves, ending with kicking off of the enemy to jump higher. [/list] [u]Yamato[/u] [list][*][b]Yamato Combo 1[/b] - Unsheathe-strike, followed by two more strikes and then sheathing. Done very quickly. [*][b]Soul Splitter[/b] - A chargeable slash, unsheathes and raise blade skyward in a stance, and then slash, slicing the area in front, as well as dealing light to heavy damage depending on charge to whatever is struck by the blade itself. [*][b]The Unjudged[/b] - Call forth Yamato in a sheathed state and block an attack. If it is blocked, Sevrin will proceed to dash past them at instantaneous speed while slashing them.[/list] [u]Phantom Style[/u] [list][*][b]Reaper Hop[/b] - Right before being struck, do a fast phantasmal dash to the flank of the attacker. [*][b]Mirage Hop[/b] - Followed up off of a Reaper Hop, allows the user to do another Reaper Hop while leaving behind a mirage. [*][b]Phantom Twin-Step[/b] - Dash backwards and then forwards really quickly while leaving an after-image. This move gives the illusion that the user had never moved, while the attacker’s strike misses. Not as safe as Reaper Hop, but can lead to a grapple. [*][b]Mirage Lash[/b] - Jump-dash backwards, throwing knives at the same time while leaving a mirage behind, making it harder to see the knives coming. [*][b]Phantom Rush[/b] - Simply send out a mirage to attack directly, deals no damage, but he can use this to completely cover his own advance. [*][b]Shuffle Image[/b] - By summoning multiple at once that do sidesteps and evasive moves at the same time as him, he can make it near-impossible to land an intentional strike on him. It can also lead to an unexpected strike. [*][b]Black Dog[/b] - From any of the mirage moves, he can have the mirage attack with his Kerberos Hell Leash attack, including every single mirage in Shuffle Image. This can make his Hell Leash advances difficult to read.[/list] [/hider]
