[@Frengo] I believe everything on the Eastern front was a mistake by Hitler personally, and then his high command. Hitler ordered Paulus to stay and fight when they were literally outnumbered so heavily there was no chance of even a pyhrric victory. :lol

[@Lord Coake] Well, I'm not sure which is true. I just go by the documents we see which is that Order 227 existed, anything besides that is always going to be doubted by both sides. :P
