Saeko Lumnium Beriya
Saeko had spent the boat journey rather uneventfully - not talking with anyone, but instead re-polishing her knives. Though her concentration had mostly been spent on her weapons, she managed to catch glimpses of some students she never seen. The first she took note of was one wearing bandages covering her entire skin. What was her story? Whatever it was, it couldn't have been worse than the gun-cradling kid at the back - trying to look sexy, but really not fairing too well. She almost couldn't see her from the radiating aura of ego emanating from her. There was one who was seemingly observing the others as well, a girl listening to some kind of music, and some familiar faces from her previous year. After stepping off the boat, the director led them off to a training ground of sorts - a panel of judges stationed to the side supposedly for deciding the first years worth. Apparently the others who weren't starting off could brush up on their skills, which seemed like a pretty decent idea. Saeko stepped up, noting the bandage girl igniting a line of laid out dummies. A second took some shots, and a couple others took some attempts. It was a better time than any to have a go. One of the undamaged dummies, from seemingly nowhere, had its head removed from it's frame - and then another next to it filled with slashes and stabs. A third suffered the same fate, and the sound of a gun firing filled the air as one of the furthest rocked with the force of several bullets slamming into it. Then, likely without anyone realising, Saeko slipped back into the ground and watched the others take their turns; judging each of them on her own and figuring out how much of a threat they could pose to her in an actual fight.

Adam Solis
The student Council President stood off to the side along with the judges, watching intently at all the students taking in turns to mutilate the dummies in whatever way they pleased. It honestly surprised him that they weren't complaining about not taking on real targets, but this exercise allowed for the teachers to observe without any obstructions, as it were. The ones that really caught his attention were the girl that used flamethrowers - a surprisingly original weapon with many weaknesses, but deadly when used correctly. The girl who seemed to attack the targets without moving, as well as the one with a great aim using a revolver. Finally, the last that caught his eye was a girl who acted with skill using knives. There was at least one there using a Talent, as far Adam could tell, which was just as well. There had to be at least some in the batch of new recruits, else it would never work. Adam stepped towards the Head, and pointedly looking towards the students. "Excuse me, Director. You wouldn't mind if I were to observe a few students, would you? Mainly the First Years Sayaka, Claudia and Lurlene, as well as the Second Year Saeko." his hand moved across the students, stopping on each of the girls as he spoke their names, "In my opinion, they are the most interesting I can see as of current. There might be others, but I think I've already found a good starting point" Turning his head to look across the damage from the students, he tilted his head slighly. His vision fixated on a single dummy right in the middle of a field of broken ones. Why did people always leave one like that? Making an extremely fast movement with his hand, he gripped the handle of his pistol and brought it up - not bothering aim - before taking a shot. As soon as it fired, the dummy was already about 7 feet away from the others. "Hmm, thats better. Now, where were we?" [@Spriggs27]
