Before a JemxMako date, Eric gets cornered by a bunch of students and Nico comes to the rescue.

How about we timeskip to Nico's long lunch period first, and he's walking around the school grounds. He then sees Eric yelling at Mako. They're on their teacher fifteen minute break. Mako leaves and runs into Jem smoking somewhere, Jem asks him out on a dinner date.

Then cut to evening.
