Rox Durnin
Rox was sorta left dumbfounded having been left a house all to herself. Especially since she was pretty sure she would be staying at the academy, but regardless she couldn't deny that it wasn't a bad thing have in case something went horribly wrong. Lucky, the house was vacant and the water and electricity had already been shut off. After a small rest through the night, Roxanne boarded the ferry to her new future. The ride itself was very relaxing and quite pleasant; a smile on her face with a breeze through her hair. There was too many people to actually find someone outlandishly specific in the crowd, so she just sat in the back, parasol open and saving her pale completion from the sun's rays. On Arrival, she continued to be just part of the crowd, not sure on how exactly she was chosen for a place like this. She never once had a murderous thought cross her mind, but looking back, her grandfather had definatly taught her some oddly specific, and in this place useful, skills. She almost wondered if her grandfather was more than he ever let on. Even her parents suspected nothing like this from him. Spacing out on the topic, she was quite startled to find it to be her turn to murder a dummy? There was all kinds of annihilated parts in the area, so she just sorta went with that. She walked forward to the dummy, parasol open, and gave a brief pause as what to do next. The head was always a vulnerable area and there was no way she wanted to drag out that old piece of war tech in her case, so she set it down at her feet and buried her head next to the dummy's, hiding under the parasol as the heat seemingly rose 10 or 20 degrees. She did remember the hidden knife, and quickly went for a decapitation, not wanting to have any more eyes on her any longer. After the kill, she quickly picked up her brief case and skedaddled off the scene 10 feet past the crowd before realizing she still had the dummy head. She quickly tossed it aside and sat on the ground under her parasol, not making eye contact with anyone else. She was prepared for the next test, however. Upon the summoning of the robots, she went for the Dragunov; assembling, loading, and aiming, waiting for a sign that the text had indeed begun. She spent about a mag and a half, shooting from underneath her parasol and effectively killing four of the mechanical beasts and shooting out the legs of another seven. Then it was over. All that was left was to pick a roommate.... ha. She knew zero of the people here, and her assumingly horrible display of a decapitation probably didn't score her any peer points. Too bad too because looking out at the crowd, some of the people were rather cute. She slowly packed up her rifle and gathered her things before heading into the bulk of the remaining students, hoping to score some sort of decent roommate by chance.
