[@Write] I really like her so far. I do wanna say, though, to keep an eye on the PTSD thing. Don't stress over extremely accurate portrayal (why would anyone do that? we're not co-authoring a book on psychology here), but I would suggest doing enough research to where Aila's PTSD can't be misconstrued as offensive. Usually there's a certain, specific way not to write something. For instance, a Bipolar person who shifts from overly angry to super happy (that's a yandere, btw, not a bipolar) is a gross mis-portrayal of that illness. However, there's a lot of different "right" ways to portray a mental illness, seeing as the brain is objectively an enigma and various afflictions often affect people in different ways. But, PTSD is a lot easier to understand than schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and something I, myself, am okay with having in any RP setting. It's hard to do PTSD wrong, but there are ways to muck it up, definitely. Though, I think you'd really have to try hard to write it wrong to really make it offensive (no one test me on this please ;3; i don't want Haggis to point at me and go "THIS IS ALL ON YOU. MCDEAD TO ME") But, yeah, I'm going to say now that it doesn't have to be a by the book thing because we're writing a story and usually there are various ways of using something like this for a character that doesn't take it into an uncomfortable zone, so it doesn't have to be done with pinpoint accuracy, just as long as you know what you're getting into and know how you wanna do this. [sub]holee run on sentence batman[/sub] I think you have a good grasp on the character and I'm very excited to see how Aila will develop as the RP progresses. I can't officially accept it, yet, since the history hasn't been finished, but she's looking very good, so far. :) I hope this doesn't stress you out, though. I don't wanna stress anyone out. Honestly, as long as you know where the boundaries are you're free to roam the possibilities of her personality and her disorder. It's definitely not something to worry over.
