The trade business was remarkably easy, once you figured out the very basics. Why anyone would choose a different profession to earn coin was beyond the honest merchant, considering how simple the process to becoming rich was. Step 1: Procure rare items. Felicia surveyed the wares put on display. At the moment, she had nothing more than a simple, old tablecloth with which to lay rest her valuable items, but that was fine. Magical artefacts and holy relics didn't exactly need satin backdrops to be infinitely regal in their splendour! And while her stock was admittedly small at the moment - the one downside to selling rare items; they weren't exactly common - their sheer value would more than make up for it. Step 2: Location. Now, who was going to make the most out of ultra-powerful weapons and armour? Surely not the kindly old man running a lovely little bakery! Obviously, the answer lay in adventurers, the most common of customers! With their kind patronage, and the knowledge that any steep cost would balance out with the item's sheer effectiveness, Felicia was confident that an exchange could only be a win-win situation for shopkeep and customer. Why anyone would ever be dissatisfied with her products was a mystery to her. That holy blade was for slaying demons, not rock-hard golems! ...Regardless, with the first two steps flawlessly executed there was only one more thing needed: Presentation! Sure, Felicia wasn't exactly the owner of a sprawling market district, but her impeccable sense of dress and upkeep, as well as the quality of her displayed goods, was surely not up for debate. Her fine suit was all the visual evidence one needed of her legitimacy! Standing tall and proud, next to a sign with a poorly scrawled 'open for business' declaration, Felicia cheerfully awaited the surely-bustling business she would soon receive. After all, setting up shop opposite the guild hall had been a wonderful strategy in the past! Hands resting upon the umbrella's grip, Felicia watched for any approaching customers, ready to sell the hell out of her wonderful relics.
