Lewis smiled even brighter, he liked Holland. When they first paired together it was like she was dancing, cutting through enemy after enemy. He felt good with her and could not ask for anything more. When his friends found out about them, they warned him to find another meister because she was blind, but that just encouraged him to stick with her even more. Lewis thought the blindness added character. "You know your blindness does not bother me, plus we already make a great team." He said with a smile.

Devin stood on the steps of the DWMA looking for his new partner. He been through the last three, simply calling them temporary. Being the diverse utility meister he was, many thought he would be one of the top students but that was not the case. He had a harsh attitude and only cared about being the best not making high marks here. If he could become the first death scythe meister in his class that would be good for him. Sid had pared him with another weapon yesterday, and all he gave him was a name and a picture, telling Devin that he thought they would be a good match.
