I think it might be because the formatting gets all janky if you go from notepad to the site's posting box and some people don't wanna deal with that.

This is more of a general grammar thing, but it irks me to no end when I end up not letting go of shift quick enough, and I capitalize the second letter of a word. It's minor, but sometimes it happens a few times and I don't notice, so I gotta go back and fix all of it.
