Max has a height of 5'10" and a weight of 185 lbs. His hair is dark brown and his eyes are dark grey. Max has a couple of tattoos on his body and a bodybuilder's constitution. He is usually found wearing common clothes like jeans, leather jackets and t-shirts. On his feet he usually wears tennis shoes, sometimes even leather shoes.

[b]Name of ability:[/b] Metamorphing
[b]Description:[/b] Max can psionically alter the formation of his body cells, thus beying able to take the appearance of any human, humanoid, or semi-humanoid being of either sex, wearing virtually any kind of clothing.
[b]Level one abilities:[/b] At this level Max can transform into any human, transformation which extends to the clothing as well. Unfortunately for him, it only lasts somewhere around 30 minutes. Also the transformation is not very exact because Max cannot replicate the retina pattern, DNA, fingerprints and body weight of the person. He would be however able to replicate the voice but it would sound kind of raspy. Max would be able to transform into someone physically bigger or smaller then him but the longer he stays in that shape, the greater the strain he will feel. 
[b]Level three abilities:[/b] At this level the transformation becomes more exact as the length of time becomes indefinite. Also, Max is able to replicate the voice, DNA, fingerprints and retina pattern of the person. Weight still becomes inaccessible though and will continue to be regardless of the level. Max will also be able to alter his body cells not only for transformation but also for regenerating and slowing down his aging process. 
[b]Level five abilities:[/b] At this level Max gains metamorphic adaptation which means that he will be able to adapt his body depending on the situation at the time, for example he can adapt his body to match his surroundings, shift his organs into his lower extremities if necesary and mimic the textures of metals and other substances. At this level Max can also atler his body cells in order to enhance his physical attributes like strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and senses. 
[b]Weakness/drawback:[/b] Max is limited to appearances only, which means that if he transforms into someone with powers Max will not be able to replicate his powers as well. Despite the fact that at higher levels he can alter his body cells in order to regenerate or enhance his physical attributes he will still be able to take damage just like any other human. Also if he is knocked unconcious or if he is badly injured he will revert back to his original self.

[u]History[/u]
[b]History:[/b] Max was born in Boston, Massachussetts from a british father and a half british-half irish mother. When he was 8 years old his parents relocated to New York City, living in Brooklyn. During the time spent in high school he used to be a bully, beating up or messing with those smaller and weaker then him. He also had the reputation of a trouble maker, always having problems with the principal and the teachers. He was suspended two times, once because he sprayed the principal's car with grafitti and the 2nd time because he was caught smoking inside the high school. Also, during the same high school period, Max used to hang out with 3 other guys, they were best friends and they had a gang together, calling themselves "The 4 Aces". He had sex for the 1st time at the age of 15 and the next year, he ended up having a child. A little girl named Angela. At first he was in shock and did his best to avoid responsibility. As the time passed, he became more and more responsible, although he stuck to his usual self. After high school though, nobody knows what happened because Max had a 180 degrees change of personality and decided he wants to be a soldier. He enlisted in the US Marine Corps and the next day he was shipped off to Parris Island in South Carolina. 

There Max was changed completely, shedding away his bully and trouble maker attitude, becoming a disciplined and proud Marine. He also married Maria, the mother of his child. As a Marine, Max served twice in Afganisthan and once in Iraq. After the 2nd tour in Afganisthan, Max decided to quit the Marines after he lost some comrades in a Taliban raid on some military vehicles that were driving down a road. After that his life continued to go downhill. He divorced from Maria, who became tired of the dangerous life that Max was living and wanted a more stable relationship. He spent more then a year looking for a job, helped with money by family and friends. In the end he found work as a mechanic in the car shop of a friend. Friend who last year had died of cancer, leaving the shop in Max's care. Max has no idea what happened to his friends and former gang members from "The 4 Aces". All he knows is that one of them, Jack, is in prison after he was caught trying to sell some ecstasy to an undercover Narcotics detective. The 2nd one, Billy, is somewhere in Spain, doing God knows what. As for the 3rd one, Mike, he has no idea what happened to him. Max hasn't seen neither of them since he finished high school and decided to be a Marine.
[b]The day before the bus ride:[/b] Max was outside of his house in the suburbs of New York, with 3 other friends of his, two of them former marines themselves. They were having a barbeque. As the 3 men were outside sitting at a table and talking, Max comes out with some beer. They were all very happy at that sight as Max placed the beer on the table. "Yeah now that's what i'm talking about." Said one of them. "Drink. There's more where that came from." Said Max as he checked the grill and after seeing that it was hot he goes back inside and come back out with the meat, which was pork stakes and some sausages. After putting the meat on the grill Max goes and back in and comes out with mustard and some sliced bread. After putting them on the table, Max grabs a beer for himself as he opens it, takes a big sip from the bottle and then goes to check on the meat. 

"So tell me Maxie, did you thought about the business proposal i've made to you last week? I think it fits you like a glove." Said one of them as he took a sip from the beer bottle. Max turns around as he looks at him with the fork in one hand and the beer bottle in another. he then turns back at the grill. "I don't know Frank. I'm already in charge of Will's car shop. God Bless his soul! Why the hell would I need a security firm for." Said Max as he looked again at Frank for a few seconds then turned back at the grill. "New York is a big city you know! With a lot of crime. A lot of people are looking for good protection. You won't have to do anything by yourself. We would be partners, you, me, John here. Were all ex-Marines. Your friend Jack here can help us with the finances. I heard he's pretty good." Said Frank. Max looks at all 3 of them as he sippes from the beer bottle. "I'll give you an answer tomorow. I promise." Said Max.

"Yeah! You said the same thing last week too. But it's okay. You know what they say...Patience is a virtue. One that I actually possess." Said Frank as he made himself more confortable in his chair. "Hey Max, where's you car anyway?" Asked John. "It's at the shop. I've been having some problems with it lately so I left it there. Until I'll fix it...public transport all the way baby." Said Max looking at John as he sipped from the beer.
