I've been writing poetry and short stories for the better part of 9/10 years. As a child, I loved writing and making up stories. During the process of growing up and going through the things I did, I turned to writing to get through it all. After my mother passed, I started living with my father.. and expressing your emotions was never allowed in [i]his[/i] household. [sup]You'd get a swift smack on the lip if he caught you so much as sniffling, especially if it was over something he caused.[/sup]

I began writing seriously when I was 13, almost 14 years old. Only ever wrote when I was feeling particularly inspired. I found most of my inspiration from my past [sup]dark[/sup] experiences, and relationships [sub]good and bad[/sub]. Had my first [sup]what felt like,[/sup] real, in-love relationship just after turning 15. I wrote lots of poems in honor of my first love.

I started out sharing my writings on a website called [url=http://www.writerscafe.org/SuicideSquadGirl]Writers Cafe[/url] [sub](linked is my current profile)[/sub], but eventually fell inactive there after a good couple of years. Many years passed, and slowly my writings began to come to a stop. I would write every now and again, but not as often as I liked, nor wanted to.

I've lost [i]many[/i] of my poems over the years, even some of my best writes, but have managed to hold on to a good few of them. I'll be posting those here, along with some new [sup]practically forced[/sup] material as well. Feel free to comment/review my work. Constructive criticism is [b]always[/b] welcome!
