Oliver definitely agreed that it was different, getting to share the seat of power with the Guild Master. When his companion started speaking, he couldn't help but reach over and loop his other arm around the woman. He didn't know what to do now. And being the quick-thinking warrior that he was, he adapted rapidly. "I... Honestly I didn't think I'd get this far... Now what do we do?" The exact opposite of what he'd been hoping for, but he supposed that was to balance out the fact that he'd already won Sanguine's affections. He sighed at that, and squeezed the vampire a little more firmly. "This is bullshit..." he groaned to himself as the clock wound down silently in the background. "I'm sorry I didn't say anything earlier..." he added for Sanguine's benefit. "You're the nicest vampire anyone could ask for... I really am sorry for every time I tried to lay on hands you..." the Paladin didn't know what else to say, so he ended up sitting in silence, clinging to the woman next to him like that could stop someone from shutting off the server. It was the best he could do for now, though, until they found some other game to play. The part that really worried him, though, was that they might not find another game. He knew his companion was rather picky about that sort of thing, and she was right when she said that nothing else really measured up right now. And after only getting five years out of this game, he wasn't sure anyone would bother trying something similar. He could hope, though, and he supposed there was nothing else he could do...
