Personally, I think that connection orbs don't work nearly as well in writing as the boards do. I think they had their place in the game, but they don't really make sense outside of SMD and wouldn't add anything to the RP that the mission boards couldn't add, and better. I think boards would just fit better into the setting.
It's Keldeo's call, but that's just what I think. :D
