[center]5 different times and 5 different parts of the world. How did they end up together? That’s simple. The portal. 

What was the portal?

It wasn’t like it was meant to be there at all. However, it seemed like it [i]was[/i] at the same time. A portal that whispers your name, calling out to you in an alluring voice and trying to convince you to enter it. 

[color=gray]“Hey, -your character’s name-”[/color]

[color=gray]“Don’t you want to see what a real life fantasy looks like?”[/color]

[color=gray]“Heeeey! C’mon, just hop in.”[/color]
 
… 

[color=gray]“You’re already dead anyways.”[/color] 

Last words. Now you have no choice as an unknown force pushes you into the portal without your consent. The inside of the portal is dark and cold. Before everything around you turns bright. A light flashes before your eyes as you perhaps flinch. 

Soon, you’re welcomed by a floating head. A beautiful woman in her mid-thirties that was smiling kindly at you. 

[color=lightpink]“Welcome to Veranta.”[/color]
Her voice is sweet and hypnotising. Looking around, there were no living beings to be found and you were in a large field. Am I dead?

 [color=lightpink]“Correct!”[/color] 

The woman’s face has a delighted expression on her face as some confetti falls down over your head. You were dead. This was… heaven? 
 
[color=lightpink]“Wrong.”[/color] 

Still a sweet smile on her face as she looks at you. 
This wasn’t heaven and it wasn’t heal. And it sure as hell wasn’t Earth. This was Vertana. A different universe that invited 10 people every 139 years to join their civilization after they have died. I suppose you could call it a resurrection. A resurrection into one of the wackiest places out of all of the universes. 
 
Vertana had it’s classic cat girls, death witches, bodyless heads, angel-like non-angels, and more. It was a place where all of these creatures were born. Earthlings thought that witches were all evil and they aren’t wrong about some. Most of the witches in Vertana specialize in voodoo and dark magic. There are those that don’t and instead try to focus on the light. [/center]
