Koji's internal worries quickly turned to indignation as he was all at once ridiculed, mocked, and reprimanded. What, could they not see that he clearly had the skill to back up his claims? [sub]Even IF that was sheer luck just now...[/sub] But that last comment from a bystander really... IRKED him. And, honestly? While the man in green and the girl from earlier were perfectly fine with him, the other two... Well, needless to say, their first impressions weren't exactly the most helpful. After all, how could insulting the future leader of the group lead to anything GOOD? Even he had that much common sense! "...Hrmph. Well, before I can address any of your issues, I must turn in my contract! Leave me at peace as I mull this over, else I make a choice that ruins us all equally!" Pulling his mask over his face to hide it, Koji moved to hand in the paperwork at the front desk, almost beginning another one of his usual dialogues before someone entered and cleared their throat... Quite loudly. Half annoyed at being interrupted AGAIN for no good reason, Koji silently thanked the receptionist instead of launching into another lengthy spiel before turning to face the source of the interruption. What he was met with, however, was beyond what he could have imagined. Someone with a sense of grandeur almost as big as his own! Truly, this must have been a fate ordained by the gods! After all, who could understand him better than someone cut from the same cloth? Completely ignoring the annoying demon woman who had chosen to off him just a few moments earlier, Koji, his face now much less red, approached the self-proclaimed summoner with a smile on his face. "If I may, madam, but surely you may find such an invitation from one such as I! Yes, I know the pain of being ignored as you have far too well, so I shall extend my hand in aid. Let this be my request to you, from whom I know naught but a name; join me in my journey across these perilous lands!"
