At a young age, Fenris knew that he wasn't like other children.  He didn't feel anything for anyone and found pleasure in people's pain and suffering.  However, he soon learned to hide these aberrant thoughts but still came off as a cold child.  

Fenris was raised in an orphanage but adopted by a young couple who wanted a child, mainly for social purposes.  They were well off and since all of their friends had kids they thought they should too.  However, his mother could not have children of their own.  When they adopted Fenris, they let him know his exact position in the household.  He was merely a tool or them to use.  That suited him just fine.  He was a cold unfeeling child that had learned that life was rough at a young age in the orphanage.  Using his parents and their connections, he made his way through high school, college and started medical school.  After his residency, he decided to go into the psychiatric field instead.  He graduated at the top of his class with honors.  

He accepted a position at Wonderland Asylum as head Psychiatrist.  It seemed like a place where he could have fun and there were less chances of his true nature coming out.  He is a true sociopath and sadist that thinks that the asylum is his playground and the patients are his toys.  As long as no permanent damage is done and no finds out he can use and break them for his enjoyment.  The Doormouse is one of his favorite toys at the moment.  

As a side note, he is gay and is attracted to Tweedle Dee.  He plans to make the boy his no matter what the boy thinks about it.
