Eh, weird that even though you tagged me I didn't receive any notification of this. Sorry for missing this out.

The essence of the RP is to deconstruct and rebuild the canon characters, not following the canon, so you can go for it! But don't forget that the canon is still with them, which your characters will recall eventually.
