Anna let out a small chuckle as Elsa was bombarded with questions and photographs as soon as she stepped down the stairs and into the party proper. But she could understand why. Elsa hadn't been seen outside of her room in years, not by Anna or anyone, so to get a glimpse of her now was noteworthy, and not just because she was going to fully take over the company. Anna turned away from Elsa's impromptu press meeting, grabbed a glass of whatever beverage was being carried around on the trays, and locked eyes with a party goer across the hall. He was so cute, with perfectly maintained brown hair, just tall enough to not make Anna, who was about medium height herself, feel small. He was wearing a white suit, which made him stand out amidst all the people in black or grey. His eyes, the same muddy color as his hair, seemed to sparkle in the light, and then he smiled at Anna, and what a smile it was. Anna batted her eyes, going slightly blush, returning his smile with a coy one of her own, the two of them engaging in mild flirting with just their eyes. Anna's gaze was snapped away from the handsome stranger, though she would definitely not let this party end without meeting him. Her attention was back onto Elsa, who was approaching her, having caught a lucky break thanks to Mr. Marks and made her little speech. Anna nervously took a sip from her drink as Elsa came closer. What could she say? They hadn't spoken in years, and suddenly Anna's mind was drawing a blank. They had so much to catch up on but so little time to do so, and Anna couldn't think straight as she just stared towards her sister. Fortunately, it was Elsa who spoke first. "Elsa, hi!" Anna responded, a bit more vibrant and cheerful than the rather timid introduction by Elsa, "Happy birthday! And wow, you look...you look great, honestly." Anna smiled towards Elsa, a genuine smile. It was all she could do to prevent the topic of conversation from turning into the sad truth that they hadn't seen each other in years.
