Ray flinched greatly as Tymea grabbed his left arm, and being dragged in the direction of Rae's cabin. He was not ready to drink and have a party with anyone at the time, especially with the person he just yelled at. He would feel even guiltier. He didn't need that. He should be focused on the mission. At the time of being dragged, he noticed someone new aboard his ship (besides Galvus). Someone he hadn't met before, and he was not a fan of people on his ship. If she was a member of the Committee, he would hate that even more. He managed to escape the drunk Tymea's grip, and walked towards the woman, who also seemed to walk towards him. Her first words to him were straight forward, and she held out her hand. Ray gave a quick examination of her, looking her up and down. She was obviously human, she looked a little older than Ray, and when she said that she was the pilot, he noticed she stole quick glances around the ship, as if in awe with it. "New pilot? They didn't tell me you'd be arriving... Captain Raymond Chase." He took her hand and shook it firmly, ignoring the dull pain in his hands. "Welcome aboard the Monroe... How long did you serve?" Raymond asked out of the blue. "In the military, I mean. Your posture and handshake kinda give it away." Ray explained. He could easily look at the roster he most likely got in his private terminal in his room, but he heard shouting from the drunk crew members, and a lot of burping, so he thought he could use this as an excuse to not walk into that situation.
