A post if absolutely needed to meet guidelines. I'd like to go over it tomorrow and officially post it if you would permit since I am very tired.
Clearly there was no point in trying to reason with the man and Rin sighed inwardly as he stepped forward at a brisk pace, the sword held to his side with his arm across his chest parallel to the ground, slightly outwards from his body. Even below his maximum speed, by a fair margin, Rin could easily close the thirty foot or so gap between them quickly. Charging headlong into an opponent could prove deadly unless you knew with certainty you outclassed them in skill and power. Rin wasn't a fool, so he intentionally placed himself, partially to obscure his own skills and talents, but partially to allow for needed speed adjustments to his approach as needed. John's powers would likely become more evident as Rin approached on a direct path, the swordsman's vision trained keenly on him, as well as the casual wind that flowed through the area. It was a product of his sword, which created a sensory field of the movements around him. For now, Rin hadn't gotten much in terms of reporting on what John was capable of - another point of caution. He had beaten up a few others that had tried to apprehend him so badly that they had memory issues. Ideally, Rin would be able to get extremely close to John with minimal issue and allow him to make use of his blade
