([@foxygen]) In person: Brother Bear? ([@HushedWhispers])
The staff members opened the door moments before 9AM. A girl with untamed dirty blonde hair, chestnut colored eyes, and an adorable-dimpled smile waited by the entrance tracing with the tip of her boot a buzzing bee in the dirt "flying" in the direction of the Main Hall. Above the basic drawn bee, in big letters it said: W E L C O M E! In her left hand, she held five dandelions that were at the stage where one could blow air at it and make a wish. Sentimental gift for five lucky kids she assumed were here for the first time. The lack of make up and her apparent dark circles gave off the idea that she had just rolled out of bed to be one of the first ones in the Hall, which wasn't necessarily untrue. Nessarose had gotten to camp a day earlier, so she had plenty of free time to think, write, and lay in the grass. The grass was nice. When the flowery girl saw her opportunity, she excitably skipped her way into the building. Now it was time to play the waiting game. Wait. Wait. Wait. Life was filled with so much waiting. Taking a seat on the wooden floor rather than the actual seats, like the oddity she was, criss-cross applesauce, her gaze never turned away from the door, as she waited patiently like the puppy she was. Ness wasn't one to send text messages to people unless they sent one to her first and even then, she wasn't the most understandable person to talk to through technology. The type of girl she was were those individuals who preferred to write on paper and even wrote letters to their love interest. The discipline of writing what's on one's mind was something she admired. Nowadays, people all ages were incredibly zoned in their phones or computers. Such a lack of appreciation to the world around them. There was a sort of intrigue not knowing where her friends were and possibly stumbling on them as the day went on. Although she has only been at the camp for one summer, this being her second, the curious mouse took the time to learn most of the camp grounds within the first week. There's probably more Ness has yet to discover but that's something she can do this week! Twirling the flowers in her hand, a faint blush fell on her face when she thought about a special someone. An entire year without seeing him and just being a bloody hopeless romantic thinking of unreasonable fantasies that she'd experience with him. Maybe, in a bit, Nessa would walk to "the spot" where she, more often than not, found Holden. The youthful spirit needed to tell him her mission this summer! That was absolutely a must. Hm, but what if he disapproves? That sort of thing didn't come to her mind until now. Contemplating the sudden thought, the naive girl gave her pouty thinking face. Her friend never did say a single word to her but somehow his silence gave her comfort. I wonder how good he is when it comes to judging character. Chuckling to herself, she decided that Holden wouldn't mind her crush at all! Sure, this was entirely based on her own assumptions on how the mysterious man thought, but we live and we learn. It wasn't like Holden disliked her. He would have left her side last year during those fun conversations they shared if that were the case, right? Her crush was such a nice guy! Holden would understand! Yeah, she'd definitely tell him soon. Her eyes became wide eyed when she saw the Beauchamp twins enter the hall. Freezing up nervously, they walked in and took a seat on the couches. Of course, they wouldn't notice her because she was on the floor hidden, especially since both of them were handsomely towering from the angle she was at. The 16 year old wanted to grab Nicholas' attention and in return Nate's, yet her mind was completely blank as she fixedly looked toward their direction. Within time, the person she assumed to be Nate left, or maybe her subconscious was forcing herself to believe that the twin she didn't know strolled on out to enjoy the sun, allowing relief to stream through her petite body. Taking a deep breath in, Nessarose stood up and held the dandelions like a bouquet, her hands clasped tightly. Slowly, very slowly, she tiptoed her way to Nicholas. The further she walked, the more she made herself believe this man was her big brother! Man, twins were so hard to tell apart! The closer she got, the faster her heart raced. Nervousness. However, before reaching her destination, Ness' attention was brought to a sheepish kid sitting by himself on a plastic chair. His face didn't look familiar. I shall call him Little Rabbit. Taking a detour, she turned to the boy and brought her face directly in front of his, eye-level, crouching her body slightly. "HI! I have something for you~" Handing him a dandelion, Nessa gave a cutesy grin, "Make a wish, but don't tell anyone! Maybe it'll come true. Liberty is a fun place to be at, I'm sure you'll fit in just fine." Forgetting to introduce herself, the ditzy girl waved goodbye and turned back to give her regards to Nicholas. Coming up from behind him, she gave a warm embrace, wrapping her arms around his chest, "Hey Brother Bear!" The poor girl had no idea what she had just gotten herself into. She had gotten to Cali yesterday but her father insisted she leave the following morning. Her plane ride was oddly nice. Coincidentally, the woman sat next to an old acquaintance she met at a Halsey concert some time ago. Sierra. A tom boy with gorgeous green eyes. Being confident and laid back, the older woman made small talk and eventually, both ladies discovered that they would be going to the same place: Camp Liberty. Her one night concert buddy did not seem fond of the trip, not one bit. To this day, Aisling's father still won't let her take her own damn car, basically demanding her to let Rupert take her, like every year. The problem wasn't the chauffeur taking her to camp. The problem was her father choosing to desert her in an area hours away from him so even if she wanted to, she would have to go through great means just to get back to him. After all, he was an asshole. Luckily for him, she preferred camp than being alone in his excessive house. With a roll of her eyes, the strong woman caught the sack one last time and sat up. Patting her hair down, her warm, chocolate orbs glanced outside the window watching the passing trees. Taking in the silence, her mind thought about the fact that this would be her's and Ghost's last year at camp. Unfortunately, these circumstances were bitter sweet. She needed to make this summer count, achieve things she hadn't done last year and perhaps, win the competition showing everyone that Grey was capable of wrecking face just as much as any other team. People underestimated them because Grey members had the tendency to not want to be involved in camp activities because they were either uncomfortable, lazy, or just didn't want to deal with petty games and a title that was worthless at the end of the day. Yet, Ash knew her team was capable of so much more than they showed and that in itself would give them an advantage. Plus, ain't nobody letting the "Royal Blues" win. Fuck those turds. She and Ghost would make sure that their winning streak ended. If Grey won, even better, they would be able to shove it in their face. The thought of the Blue team made the woman think of someone in particular. Contemplating to herself for a moment or two, she decided to take initiative and send a text to make sure the pretty girl didn't back down this summer. Last year was fun and games, especially after that fairly close and personal challenge. Picking her phone up with slight intrigue in her expression, she typed up a quick message with her free hand (her other hand still holding onto the hacky sack). To: Blondie Hey Babe. Gonna kick your ass this year. Be ready. ;) After she sent the text, she placed her phone on her lap and crossed her arms rather impatiently. "Ru, what's the ETA?" she sighed, putting her toy back in her backpack. "Five minutes, give or take, Ms. Hawthrone." Her face grimaced when he called her by her last name. "How many times do I have to remind you? Call me Ash. No need for formal shit." Feeling her phone vibrate on her lap as the man apologized and grew silent, Aisling turned it over and read a text from one of her camp friends, her darling Kitten. Meow. Or in other words, Ariel, a feisty ass girl she's had to cover for on more occasions than the older woman would like to admit. There was a small attachment Ash obtained by observing the girl and being there for her if she ever needed a companion. Adorably awkward through and through, but with a ticking bomb personality. That was Ariel. To: Mew Mew Damn girl, I get you that excited? ^^ To: Ride or Die Squad I'll be there soon. Start thinking of shit to do now. Especially you Ghost. As if the gods had answered her prayers, the luxury car pulled into the camp parking lot, "No need to help me or get out the car. I can handle my bags." Sometime later after dropping off her things... Finally arriving in the Main Hall, she noticed Ariel, who wasn't paying much attention to her surroundings. Her stare trailed from her friend to the babyface kid by himself. Without a doubt, he was a new camper and something about him had "Grey" written all over him. Gesturing to Kitten to give her a moment, having noticed the young girl look up from her phone, the pseudo-mom of the Grey team made her way toward the new recruit, who was holding a dandelion. Giving him a warm smile that she didn't give many people unless she knew just by looking at them they were harmless, Ash welcomingly asked, "Want to sit with us?" Motioning to the direction where Ariel was, the woman continued, "The name's Aisling, by the way. You can call me Ash. Mind me asking, are you in Grey?" She offered her hand for either a shake or to assist him up, whatever he wanted, and waited patiently for the young boy to respond.
