The reason for such an attitude? They were discussing Assassin's Creed, or more specifically, who was the best Assassin of the series. Krista's points would've been a lot more valid if... well, she played past the third game. Caleb let out another laugh as Krista let out a loud, "hmph!" after being out-talked. This was usually how their conversations would go: after one banter they'd move onto the next, and while sometimes it would look heated it was anything but. Hell, just before their debate about the best Assassin out of the series, they were arguing about the best juice box packaging. Yeah, definitely nothing bad. "Are you sure you took the right way? The map says--" Krista closed her mouth as the car turned around the corner to reveal the opened gates into the slowly bustling camp site. Caleb manoeuvred inside, carefully parking beside another car before switching off the engine and looking over at Krista once again. He was glad to see the excitement on Krista's face rather than a worried, stressed look like from last night. Caleb knew that Krista wasn't as comfortable in socialising as he was (well, now anyway). It didn't help that Caleb's been going to the camp since the age of fourteen, knowing many of the kids and staff almost like family unlike the redhead beside him. Giving her shoulder a soft pat of comfort (and getting a grateful smile in return), Caleb stepped out of the car to stretch his tired limbs. Krista, meanwhile remained in the car to look over at some of the other people - some already gathered around and chatting as if they hadn't just not seen each other in a year. They looked comfortable, wanted, and Krista wondered whether she would even be welcome in such a close-knit camp. It didn't help that this would be Caleb's last year at camp, him moving onto college the following year and moving on with his life. Away from her. Part of her knew that this was Caleb's way of trying to get Krista to find more people to enjoy herself with, in the same fashion that Caleb was able to open up to others years prior. She knew he wanted her to be able to find something in this camp that would bring her out of her shell, and that was something Krista wasn't so sure about. Krista wasn't shy per say, too focused on her education to interact with other human beings were more like it. A rattling at the window startled the redhead out of her thoughts, her sunglasses slipping from the top of her hair down into her lap as she stared up at Caleb's goofy grin, realising he had been beckoning her to come outside this entire time. She climbed out, apologising as Caleb brushed off her words with a flick of his hand. "If you reall' wanna help me, take your own bag into reception." Another hmph later, the two New York buddies dragged their luggage into reception, standing in line as they waited to check-in. Their turn came a few minutes later and soon enough, Caleb Brady and Krista Hale were officially a part of Camp Liberty for the summer. Caleb pointed Krista towards the directions of the Purple halls, giving her a small, brief tour to and from the main points of camp (ie. the food hall, the media room, her cabin and his cabin if she got lost) before making his way towards his own cabin to unpack his stuff.
