[@Kitty]A good GM would help the player tone down their character to meet the standards of his or her game. Otherwise, why be a GM if you don't: a) care about your writers, or b) want GM responsibility? That's not good leadership. That would make people avoid your games in the future and give you a bad reputation. It is way more productive to just help those players interested in your game tailor their profiles to meet your rules and standards. If a GM doesn't want to do that, then he or she should really just stick to 1x1. It's basic leadership skills.
