God [i]dammit[/i]. That's more or less exactly what I was doing. Though my exact idea was that my character was bonded to one of Tiamat's "children," (in this case, the fertility god Dagon), and has been going around hunting down her other children to assimilate into a new spirit (so far nicknamed "Leviathan").

Is there any chance of [@BCTheEntity] perhaps relenting and allowing me to play with this? I had ideas for a Lovecraft-influenced character as a master of mutation and life magic.
