“Arty,” Calliope parroted back, retrieving her driver’s license and re-pocketing it quickly. It was a nice name, it suited him well. The tall redhead stepped out of her way and shot her a charming grin before ushering her inside. She returned the gesture with a nervous smile of her own, took a deep breath, and stepped over the threshold. 

The second she was through the door the blue haired woman realized what a truly [i]horrible[/i] mistake she had made. It was almost pitch black inside except for the dance floor, which was lit by the occasional neon strobe light, complete with a shirtless, dreadlocked man hopping around like a madman on stage while he DJed away. Calliope turned around and was ready to bolt but had to stop when she realized that it was an entrance only door. [i]’How in God’s green earth do you get out of this place!?’[/i] she thought, eyes darting around frantically for an exit.

That's when she realized that there were bubbles everywhere, flooding from the dance floor and seeping into the main bar area. [i]’What is happening here? Is this some kind of hedonistic ritual!?’[/i] she continued her mental ramblings, gasping and jumping back when she accidentally stumbled into a couple who were very vocally making out. The music that was blaring from the speakers was fast paced and had high-pitched squeaking vocals the crooned out the lyrics at an unnatural timbre. 

“Right,” she said to no one in particular, her voice drowned out by the heavy bass and synthetic beats. “I need a drink then.”

By the time she made her way to the bar, she had suds in her hair and her dress was starting to soak through. Calliope found an empty stool and plopped down, waving down the pretty bartender. “Can I get a moscow mule?” She asked, scowling when she realized her seat was damp and now so was her butt. 

This place was the worst. When the zombies inherited the earth hopefully they’d destroy Club LUSH first.
