Yep, I get it. It still needs some work, but if done well it could be super interesting, and a challenge. I think it would better in... er, time to invent a term in my head "party-based" roleplaying like how this one is set up, where most of the characters are together in one allied group. It means the ability benefits all of the protagonists (barring some sort of internal conflict), which means it's less likely for it to piss someone off directly like in more of a player-versus-player kind of roleplay.
