On that note, [@neogreggory], concerning the different types of battles: What I wrote up for single combat would apply well to group combat if we wanted to briefly consider what a group would be like. Rather than define an entire group for group battles, however, I'd instead make a write up for the leader and the team itself. A bit of clever rewriting to the rules could create a setup where number of members are injured, or number are slain. The paired contests could use two characters instead of one. Simple as that. Archery contests would just be a straight-up roll made once. Same for beast mastery contests, though beast mastery would also involve wounds. (Beast mastery = slaying a bunch of animals.)
