Loki, fun? I'm skeptical, but Norse gods are much fun. I'm debating on if I want to jump on the ship or not as well.

Does the sex of the mantle holder have to match the sex of the god?

Egyptian Mythos is my favorite, even if the gods never stay the same god depending on what time period you look at, and then some gods are the same gods and some just disappear. Or one cult wipes out another, or the Pharaoh wants to change a god to be more important...*grumbles*
