So thing is, I've been gone for about 4 months and just recently got back. The rp I was running kind of died off, and by the looks of it, it may very well never recover. I have faith that it may, but just in case it doesn't, I don't want the idea to disappear. [@Gin] has agreed to be my co-GM this time around, and he was with me and two others in SAO: Aftermath. It shouldn't be too hard to reboot, if anyone is interested in the idea. If you would like to check that out, here's a link to the plot and timeline. Those will be the only thing that will exchange over to the reboot, so those are the only thing you would need to know. For any questions on that idea, please PM me, [@link23454]. As for the other idea, it's based on an idea for anime I've had for the longest time, and very recently started writing a story about it. Essentially, this idea is based on all anime and a multiverse theory that I'm not sure if it's my own or I just thought of it after someone else. Here's how the theory works. First, we already know a few different types of theories out there, such as parallel universes and molecular universes. My theory works a little with both of those. To imagine this theory, picture a perfect bubble. This bubble can expand and contract; however, no matter how much you try to interact with it, it cannot and will not break or pop. I call this bubble "Existence itself." Inside of this bubble lies where everything exists, and outside of this bubble is the home of God. This reason is why the bubble cannot break and also why it can change form. The same as we cannot interact with that which is outside the bubble, God cannot interact with what is inside the bubble. Now, this doesn't mean God cannot "persuade" things to happen inside the bubble. Before going further on this, let's backtrack. This bubble known as existence is, obviously, where we exist. However, this bubble is not the universe. To understand this, imagine; This big bubble is the plain of existence, so our universe is inside of it. Since this big bubble itself isn't the universe, our universe must exist inside of something. Imagine more bubbles floating around inside of the big bubble. No, these still aren't technically our universes. These are what I call "Realms." These "Realms" co-exist inside of the plain of existence, and much like the big bubble, cannot pop or break..... naturally. This will be explained later. Moving on, each of these realms float around colliding into each other, bouncing of the wall of existence, and can also change their form. These realms are how God can persuade what happens inside the plain of existence. He can mold and create new realms inside of the plain of existence, without breaking the existing realms or existence itself. Still wondering were universes come into play? Well, this is where it gets fun. Keep picturing it: the Big Bubble of Existence and now the Realms.... of Reality. Yes, a little cheesy of a name, but let's move on. With that picture in mind, zoom in on one of the Realms. Inside this Realm, picture and infinite number of infinitely smaller bubbles. One of those bubbles is where our universe exists. Taking these infinitely small bubbles into consideration, if you haven't already realized it, these bubbles are where parallel universes come from... in this theory that is. All of these bubbles together are what make up The Plain of Existence. This is what the story is based on. With multiple anime out there, each one could easily have its own Realm in the plain of existence. This is where Realms not breaking comes into play and the concept behind this rp idea. Naturally, these realms can touch one another, bounce into each other, and do just about anything to one another. However, no matter what happens, the universes inside them can't naturally interact with the universes of another realm. The parallel universes could interact inside these realms, and that was as far as it should have been able go. At least, that was God's plan. The reason was that, in essence, each realm possesses something special in order to make it different from all of the other realm. If somehow, this factor were to transfer over from one realm to another, it would cause both of them to rupture. When then do, it would be the same as adding black dye to a cup of water until only the black dye was left. No water, just dye. Why is this such a big deal? Well, using a cup is terrible for this example. Instead, let's use the bubble for The Plain of Existence. These realms interacting would create this "black dye," and in doing so, it would endlessly pour out into The Plain of Existence. Now, I you haven't realized it yet, let me explain something. I've mentioned that these different bubbles could all change form. However, that doesn't mean that they have unlimited space within themselves. If the spreading of this "black dye" got out of hand, it would eventually erase all of existence, even the existence we have no clue of. Gone in the matter of an instant. Here's the problem. Something has made the realms begin to deteriorate, forming small Tears in Reality, which would increase the possibility of the "black dye" forming. As it wasn't God's intention for these Tears to appear, God decides to form a new realm; one that was capable of withstanding the "special factor" from all of the other realms. In doing so, God fixed the issue of the realms breaking apart. So where's the issue? How is it that there's a problem? God fixed everything, right? Well, being almighty and everything, sometimes you don't completely see your own mistakes. Getting down to 'the molecular level,' inside of these realms existed people who came to this conclusion of existence, and began trying to break their way out of their own realms, which caused the ruptures to form. When God made this special realm, tunnels began to form that would fix the ruptures that were forming, but in turn, this gave those people a way to break out of their own realms. Now, these people had a way to escape their own reality that they thought worked. Technically, they were right. And these people weren't exactly what you would call respectable. The reason behind their want to traverse these realms? Greed. These realms all had something that they couldn't acquire from their own, so they set their minds on taking it by force. There's a lot more to it than this, but I've rambled on for long enough. Getting out of hand honestly. So Let me know what you guys think. Even if you don't want to play, I would really appreciate feedback on the second idea.
