[/quote] Oh, I wouldn't for a second think it to be possible to be an actual real life vigilante - not for very long. The best martial artists in the world (Depending on the fighting style, of course.) would lose a fight to four or more "Average" humans, even less if they are armed. Being Batman is obviously impossible unless you're 25 people being Batman. But like, former Army Veterans taking to the streets to defend their neighbourhood wearing masks and using army tactics would work just fine to take down ordinary street crime. (Though, i recall hearing about something similar a couple of years ago.)
