Liam collected the shards of his fishing rod. He knew where he could go to get a new one. He pet the Pidgeot's head as he praised it. Slowly, the Pidgeys and Pidgeottos that made the rest of the flock began flying back. Liam began to postulate if he should leave Pidgeot to care for them. Almost as if it was sensing Liam's feelings, Pidgeot cooed as it wrapped its wings around Liam in a hug.
