I've said I love the idea of everyone who has expressed interest, but your concept is by far my favorite.

The Xim will disapprove of your lack of tech and WMDs, but will love the industrial spirit and your wanton destruction of nature via stip-mining. That's just the sort of thing they would do, in the situation. :lol
