Nine

By the time Aksel had decided to respond to Nine out burst. Nine had already moved on, so while the Ukai listened to what was said to her it was largely ignored. The part of dragging her severed head around by the tail, did make Nine raise an eye brow as almost daring her to try it. Aksel's reason using Nine's card also got listened to, but it only made Nine shake her head. All it did was show how little Aksel knew Nine and her people. No Ukai would willingly lead a mutiny, unless absolutely called for and even so would not side with criminals. Hopefully counsel put on to investigate this would know that or be smart enough to work it out. When Asekl mentioned Nine not volunteering to hit her questioning if Nine was afraid. The Ukai shook her head in an almost disappointed fashion, Askel knew why Nine couldn't hit her. Nine refusing to give into her desire to hurt the captain was if anything was a compliment from the Ukai. Given her code of honor forbade Nine harming her commanding officer, unless it was to preserve her own life or some extenuating circumstance. Other then that it was a line didn't want to cross even if it was a very tempting on to cross, even if she lacked strength Nine knew even in her hands that baton would eventually leave a mark. After that Nine lost any interest in the Aksel sitting on the ground looking over at her superior officer once as she spoke to CĂș over by the window. It was then Grick lumbered over to Nine, the Ukai giving the larger alien an instinctual wary look for a moment before seeming to easy up. Grick was one of the pricker Nine always felt he was out of place, like he wasn't the sort to end up on this sort of vessel. Still he had to of done something criminal, then again what each race calls a crime is different. As the large alien spoke and called Nine a Vaunted Navigator, Nine felt her ego being stroked causing a slightly pleased grin to form. Acknowledging Nine's piloting skills was one sure way to get on her good side, even if that wasn't Gricks intention. Before Nine spoke, she noticed that Grick seemed to shutter and did something along his back. Nine giving Grick another instinctual weary look, unable to help herself given the size difference between them, "That you are. I don't mind you coming with me, it save me coming back to fetch you. Good at ship engine maintenance are we? That would be useful ... given it's hard to fly a ship and try to maintain it. Told the Stris ... er ... captain more then once a proper engineer would be useful. Anyway even if you know only the basic's of engine maintenance I can find much use for you." Nine stated getting to her feet, find it really uncomfortable to be sat down near larger alien. Once on her feet Nine looked at Grick for a moment. So ... Grick ... this is an odd turn of events. Must say I've been wondering what you dug up for a while. Tried to look into but the captain made difficult." Nine said stopping when she noticed Pax doing something to the captain that wasn't a savage beating. Given now she was distracted Nine didn't really care, so quickly put her attention back on Grick. I've got to ask, since it should matter know since we all know about the chip. How and where did you find that thing?
