Kijani felt a little sorry for the new students. Typical Mimic, docking them both for being well matched. Sometimes fights did have draws, there was no sense in making it their fault. Tactical retreats happened all the time. Standing up and gathering her things, Kijani rolled her eyes. "It'll be another oh-so-engaging year. I'm sure I'll learn plenty, Mimic." Plenty about how to fail in your work and life. She still recalled that one girl who gave Mimic a nervous breakdown with just a touch. She hoped Mimic remembered, too... "Hey." She approached Connor and gave him a light kiss on the cheek. "I've got modern weaponry next, with Frank Castle." Who best to teach students how to properly handle a gun than the Punisher himself? "...wish me luck, Connor. We can talk about my plane over lunch." -- "Was that all?" Kassy murmured to no one at all. While watching the boys fight had been engaging, at least, she hadn't actually learned anything. It was kind of disappointing. Maybe the next one would be better. After taking a drink of water, she checked her schedule and her map, and started off toward the fighting class. Even though Kassy didn't look like much, she and most of her people had been trained in basic self-defense since a young age. You had to know how to fight when you shared an ocean with predators. Kassy didn't exactly enjoy the activity, though. She really didn't want to hurt anyone. If it came down to it, though, to fight or die, she would fight- swiftly and without mercy. She knew that about herself, just as surely as she knew her magic. Sometimes she was afraid of what else lie in her heart. "Aha. Here we go." She swung open the door, and stepped into the room. After setting down her things and rehydrating, she removed one of her skirts to reveal a shorter one. This one was made for activity, and was well tied at her waist and split down both sides for freedom of movement. It was a little embarrassing to show her legs, but she'd rather do that than trip.
